You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Carnegie Mellon University. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Pennsylvania for Computer Software for a Master’s list. Located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, this fairly large private not-for-profit school handed out 74 degrees to qualified masters’s computer software students in 2020-2021.
As a testament to the quality of education offered at Carnegie Mellon, the school also landed the #1 spot in our “Best Computer Software & Applications Master’s Degree Schools in Pennsylvania” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 117 of the 13,519 students enrolled at Carnegie Mellon University were GI Bill® students, of which 72 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $18,422. In addition to receiving other benefits, 36 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program.
The school has an excellent freshman retention rate of 96%, which means students like the school well enough to return for a second year. University of Pennsylvania is a private not-for-profit institution located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The school has a large population, and it awarded 19 masters’s degrees in 2020-2021.
