In 2020-2021, 2,338 people earned their degree in information systems, making the major the 314th most popular in the United States.
At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 1,035 information systems graduates with average earnings and debt of $39,682 and $26,217 respectively.
For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly for Info Systems for a Bachelor’s” ranking, we looked at 32 colleges that offer a degree in information systems. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great information systems programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.
To come up with these rankings, we looked at factors such as veteran satisfaction, veteran affordability, and overall quality of the information systems program at the school. Check out our ranking methodology for more information.

TCU is a private not-for-profit institution located in Fort Worth, Texas. The school has a fairly large population, and it awarded 59 bachelors’s degrees in 2020-2021.
As a testament to the quality of education offered at TCU, the school also landed the #2 spot in our “Best Information Systems Bachelor’s Degree Schools” ranking.Among the 11,379 students enrolled at TCU, 520 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data.
