In 2020-2021, 14,700 people earned their degree in computer systems networking, making the major the 125th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, computer systems networking graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $43,365 and had an average of $27,750 in loans still to pay off.
For this year’s “Most Well Attended Networking Major” ranking, we looked at 444 colleges that offer a degree in computer systems networking. To top this list, a school must have a successful computer systems networking program that graduates more students in the field than other colleges that offer the same major.

The undergrad student loan default rate at the school is 3.0%, which is quite low when compared to the national default rate of 10.1%.
You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend DeVry University - Illinois. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Well Attended Networking Major list. This large school is located in Chicago, Illinois, and it awarded 329 ’s networking degrees in 2020-2021.

Kean University landed the #12 spot on the 2023 Most Well Attended Networking Major ranking. Kean University is located in Union, New Jersey and, has a fairly large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 55 ’s networking degrees to qualified students.
Florida State College at Jacksonville ranked #13 on this year’s Most Well Attended Networking Major list. Located in Jacksonville, Florida, this large public school awarded 54 degrees to qualified ’s networking students in 2020-2021.
