Top 5 Best Computer Systems Networking Master’s Degree Colleges for Veterans in the Southeast Region
You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend George Mason University. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Networking for a Master’s list. GMU is located in Fairfax, Virginia and, has a large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 13 masters’s networking degrees to qualified students.
GMU did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #1 on our “Best Computer Systems Networking Master’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” list.Our most recent data shows that 2,334 of the 38,541 students enrolled at George Mason University were GI Bill® students, of which 1,583 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $10,710. On top of their other funding sources, 42 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.
The undergrad student loan default rate at the school is [DEFAULT_RATE_STRING]%, which is quite low when compared to the national default rate of 10.1%. The school has an excellent freshman retention rate of 86%, which means students like the school well enough to return for a second year.

Out of the 5 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Networking for a Master’s that were part of this year’s ranking, University of North Carolina at Greensboro landed the #2 spot on the list. This fairly large school is located in Greensboro, North Carolina, and it awarded 56 masters’s networking degrees in 2020-2021.
UNC Greensboro not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #2 on our “Best Computer Systems Networking Master’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” list.Among the 19,764 students enrolled at University of North Carolina at Greensboro, 885 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 329 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $5,723. In addition to receiving other benefits, 14 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Students may be able to receive credit for their military training, depending on their background.

East Carolina University is a large public school situated in Greenville, North Carolina. It awarded 22 masters’s networking degrees in 2020-2021.
ECU not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #4 on our “Best Computer Systems Networking Master’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” list.Our most recent data shows that 8 of the 28,798 students enrolled at ECU were GI Bill® students, of which 4 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $11,409. On top of their other funding sources, 0 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Out of the 5 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Networking for a Master’s that were part of this year’s ranking, North Carolina State University landed the #4 spot on the list. Raleigh, North Carolina is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out masters’s networking degrees to 53 students in 2020-2021.
NC State did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #3 on our “Best Computer Systems Networking Master’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” list.Of the 36,042 students enrolled at NC State, 1,102 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 493 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $5,886. On top of their other funding sources, 27 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.
The school has an excellent freshman retention rate of 94%, which means students like the school well enough to return for a second year. The low undergrad student loan default rate of [DEFAULT_RATE_STRING]% is a good sign that students have an easier time paying off their loans than they might at other schools. In addition to being on our southeast region master’s degree vets studying networking list, Stratford University has also earned the #5 rank in our “Best Computer Systems Networking Master’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” ranking.Of the 1,947 students enrolled at Stratford University, 35 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 34 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $11,079. To help with additional expenses, 4 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Stratford University offers credit for military training for eligible students.
The undergraduate student-to-faculty ratio of 9 to 1 is a sign that students will have more opportunities to engage with their professors one-on-one.
