Data Processing is the 225th most popular major in the country with 1,955 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, data processing graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $36,777 and had an average of $18,195 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southeast region, there were 1,026 data processing graduates with average earnings and debt of $35,178 and $18,599 respectively. At the associate degree level specifically, there were 519 data processing graduates with average earnings and debt of $34,328 and $20,384 respectively.

American Public University System is a large school located in Charles Town, West Virginia that handed out 44 associates’s data processing degrees in 2020-2021.
American Military University not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #1 on our “Best Data Processing Associate Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” list.Of the 50,047 students enrolled at American Public University System, 18,040 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data.
