Out of the 11 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the Plains States Region for Information Science for a Bachelor’s that were part of this year’s ranking, Missouri University of Science and Technology landed the #1 spot on the list. Rolla, Missouri is the setting for this medium-sized institution of higher learning. The public school handed out bachelors’s information science degrees to 48 students in 2020-2021.
Missouri University of Science and Technology not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #1 on our “Best General Information Science Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Plains States Region” list.Of the 7,642 students enrolled at Missouri University of Science and Technology, 306 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 185 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $7,588. You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Nebraska at Omaha. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Plains States Region for Information Science for a Bachelor’s list. UNOMAHA is located in Omaha, Nebraska and, has a fairly large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 59 bachelors’s information science degrees to qualified students.
UNOMAHA also took the #3 spot in our “Best General Information Science Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Plains States Region” ranking.Among the 15,892 students enrolled at UNOMAHA, 928 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. MSU Moorhead is located in Moorhead, Minnesota and, has a medium-sized student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 35 bachelors’s information science degrees to qualified students.

With a ranking of #9, Emporia State University did quite well on the 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Plains States Region for Information Science for a Bachelor’s list. ESU is a medium-sized public school situated in Emporia, Kansas. It awarded 10 bachelors’s information science degrees in 2020-2021.
ESU also made our “Best General Information Science Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Plains States Region” list, coming in at #9.Of the 5,828 students enrolled at ESU, 127 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data.
