The low undergrad student loan default rate of 1.3% is a good sign that students have an easier time paying off their loans than they might at other schools. You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Grand Valley State University. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Well Attended IS Major in Michigan list. Located in Allendale, Michigan, this large public school awarded 36 degrees to qualified ’s IS students in 2020-2021.
The undergrad student loan default rate at the school is 2.7%, which is quite low when compared to the national default rate of 10.1%.

UM Dearborn is located in Dearborn, Michigan and, has a medium-sized student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 17 ’s IS degrees to qualified students.
The school has an impressive undergrad student loan default rate. It’s only 3.7%, which is much lower than the national rate of 10.1%.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Michigan - Flint. It ranked #4 on our 2023 Most Well Attended IS Major in Michigan list. UM Flint is a medium-sized school located in Flint, Michigan that handed out 15 ’s IS degrees in 2020-2021.

Out of the 10 schools in the Most Well Attended IS Major in Michigan that were part of this year’s ranking, Northwood University landed the #5 spot on the list. Northwood is a small private not-for-profit school situated in Midland, Michigan. It awarded 14 ’s IS degrees in 2020-2021.
The school has an impressive undergrad student loan default rate. It’s only 4.3%, which is much lower than the national rate of 10.1%.
