University of Utah has taken the #1 spot in this year's information science ranking for non-traditional students. Located in the city of Salt Lake City, U of U is a public college with a very large student population. As a testament to the quality of education offered at U of U, the school also landed the #1 rank in our Best Colleges for Information Science in the Rocky Mountains Region ranking.
The student loan default rate at U of U is lower than is typical, just 0.8% of students default in three years. There are approximately 19,378 students at U of U that take at least one class online. 7,185 students are part time.

The #2 spot in this year's ranking belongs to Colorado State University - Fort Collins. Colorado State is a fairly large public school located in the medium-sized city of Fort Collins. The #4 spot in this year's ranking belongs to Utah Valley University. Located in the small city of Orem, UVU is a public school with a fairly large student population. As a testament to the quality of education offered at UVU, the school also landed the #4 rank in our Best Colleges for Information Science in the Rocky Mountains Region ranking.
