Out of the 10 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for IT for a Bachelor’s that were part of this year’s ranking, Norwich University landed the #2 spot on the list. Norwich is a small private not-for-profit school situated in Northfield, Vermont. It awarded 29 bachelors’s IT degrees in 2020-2021.
As a testament to the quality of education offered at Norwich, the school also landed the #4 spot in our “Best Information Technology Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the New England Region” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 822 of the 3,975 students enrolled at Norwich were GI Bill® students, of which 569 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $6,528. In addition to receiving other benefits, 55 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Students may be able to receive credit for their military training, depending on their background.

This medium-sized school is located in New Britain, Connecticut, and it awarded 24 bachelors’s IT degrees in 2020-2021.
As a testament to the quality of education offered at CCSU, the school also landed the #5 spot in our “Best Information Technology Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the New England Region” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 321 of the 10,652 students enrolled at Central Connecticut State University were GI Bill® students, of which 166 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. Portland, Maine is the setting for this medium-sized institution of higher learning. The public school handed out bachelors’s IT degrees to 9 students in 2020-2021.
University of Southern Maine did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #9 on our “Best Information Technology Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the New England Region” list.According to our most recent data, University of Southern Maine supports 8,022 students, and 400 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 174 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. UMA not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #10 on our “Best Information Technology Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the New England Region” list.Our most recent data shows that 288 of the 4,202 students enrolled at UMA were GI Bill® students, of which 91 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. Western New England did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #8 on our “Best Information Technology Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the New England Region” list.Of the 3,673 students enrolled at Western New England University, 81 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 37 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $12,271. New England Institute of Technology came in at #9 in this year’s edition of the Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for IT for a Bachelor’s ranking. East Greenwich, Rhode Island is the setting for this small institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out bachelors’s IT degrees to 24 students in 2020-2021.
New England Tech also took the #6 spot in our “Best Information Technology Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the New England Region” ranking.Of the 2,031 students enrolled at New England Tech, 259 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 135 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $14,686. In addition to receiving other benefits, 34 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program.
The impressive undergraduate student-to-faculty ratio of 10 to 1 means that students may have more opportunities to work more closely with their professors than they would at other schools. The low undergrad student loan default rate of [DEFAULT_RATE_STRING]% is a good sign that students have an easier time paying off their loans than they might at other schools. Bentley University came in at #10 in this year’s edition of the Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for IT for a Bachelor’s ranking. Bentley is located in Waltham, Massachusetts and, has a medium-sized student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 13 bachelors’s IT degrees to qualified students.
Bentley did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #3 on our “Best Information Technology Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the New England Region” list.Among the 5,177 students enrolled at Bentley University, 31 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 15 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $10,487. To help with additional expenses, 10 students received funds through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Bentley University does offer credit for military training for eligible students.
