Information Technology is the 42nd most popular major in the country with 40,555 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, information technology graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $46,525 and had an average of $26,794 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southeast region, there were 11,783 information technology graduates with average earnings and debt of $45,555 and $24,433 respectively.

Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for IT for a Doctorate

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend Marymount University. The school came in at #1 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for IT for a Doctorate. Marymount University is a small private not-for-profit school situated in Arlington, Virginia. It awarded 13 doctorate’s IT degrees in 2020-2021.
Marymount not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #1 on our “Best Information Technology Doctor’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” list.Of the 3,294 students enrolled at Marymount, 175 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 172 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $15,047.
