It’s not easy to decide which college to attend when there so many options available for veterans. College Factual has developed its “Most Veteran Friendly in Vermont for IT” ranking as one item you can use to help make this decision.
In 2020-2021, 40,555 people earned their degree in information technology, making the major the 42nd most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, information technology graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $46,525 and had an average of $26,794 in loans still to pay off.
Across Vermont, there were 322 information technology graduates with average earnings and debt of $79,011 and $26,811 respectively.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Vermont for IT” ranking looked at 2 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in information technology. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent information technology programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend Norwich University. The school came in at #1 for the Most Veteran Friendly in Vermont for IT. Northfield, Vermont is the setting for this small institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out ’s IT degrees to 29 students in 2020-2021.
