When pursuing a degree in today’s world, veterans have many different options to choose from. Our “Most Veteran Friendly for Carpentry for an Associate” ranking is part of that endeavor.
In 2020-2021, 3,273 people earned their degree in carpentry, making the major the 286th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, carpentry graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $31,196 and had an average of $11,191 in loans still to pay off.
At the associate degree level specifically, there were 426 carpentry graduates with average earnings and debt of $35,806 and $19,336 respectively.
For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly for Carpentry for an Associate” ranking, we looked at 11 colleges that offer a degree in carpentry. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality carpentry programs as well as strong veteran support.
