When it comes to choosing a college, students have a lot of options - but not all of them are good. College Factual has developed its “Most Well Attended Construction Major in the Great Lakes Region” ranking as one item you can use to help make this decision.
Construction is the 284th most popular major in the country with 1,435 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, construction graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $33,364 and had an average of $9,374 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Great Lakes region, there were 227 construction graduates with average earnings and debt of $28,079 and $9,500 respectively.
This year’s “Most Well Attended Construction Major in the Great Lakes Region” ranking analyzed 16 colleges that offered a degree in construction. To top this list, a school must have a successful construction program that graduates more students in the field than other colleges that offer the same major.
