In 2020-2021, 35,794 people earned their degree in construction trades, making the major the 34th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, construction trades graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $38,184 and had an average of $11,556 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Middle Atlantic region, there were 3,906 construction trades graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,671 and $11,321 respectively.
For this year’s “Best Value Construction Trades Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region” ranking, we looked at 15 colleges that offer a degree in construction trades. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great construction trades programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.
