It’s not easy to decide which college to attend when there so many options available for veterans. College Factual has developed its “Most Veteran Friendly in the Plains States Region for Construction Trades” ranking as one item you can use to help make this decision.

In 2020-2021, 35,794 people earned their degree in construction trades, making the major the 34th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, construction trades graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $38,184 and had an average of $11,556 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Plains States region, there were 3,248 construction trades graduates with average earnings and debt of $41,909 and $14,872 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Plains States Region for Construction Trades” ranking analyzed 19 colleges that offered a degree in construction trades. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent construction trades programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

MCC is located in Omaha, Nebraska and, has a fairly large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 93 ’s construction trades degrees to qualified students.
