University of California - Irvine tops the 2021 list of our schools in California that are best for non-traditional general education students. UC Irvine is a fairly large public school located in the large city of Irvine. UC Irvine did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #1 on our Best Colleges for General Education in California list.
The student loan default rate at UC Irvine is lower than is typical, just 0.6% of students default in three years. There are approximately 23,448 students at UC Irvine that take at least one class online. About 1,201 of the students at UC Irvine are attending part time.
