Best General Education Schools for Non-Traditional Students
Florida Atlantic University has taken the #1 spot in this year's general education ranking for non-traditional students. FAU is a very large public school located in the small city of Boca Raton. FAU not only placed well in our non-traditional rankings. It is also #2 on our Best Colleges for General Education in Florida list.
About 1.4% of FAU students default on their loans in three years, which is lower than average. There are approximately 14,436 students at FAU that take at least one class online. 11,860 of FAU students are attending part time.
Florida Gulf Coast University comes in at #2 in this year's ranking. FGCU is a large public school located in the large suburb of Fort Myers. In addition to being on our best for non-traditional students list, FGCU has also earned the #3 rank in our Best Colleges for General Education in Florida ranking.
About 1.3% of FGCU students default on their loans in three years, which is lower than average. Approximately 5,017 students take at least one class online at FGCU. There are roughly 3,843 part time students in attendance at FGCU.
Flagler College - St Augustine comes in at #3 in this year's ranking. Located in the suburb of Saint Augustine, Flagler St. Augustine is a private not-for-profit school with a small student population. Flagler St. Augustine did well in our major quality rankings, too.
