You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend The University of Montana - Western. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Rocky Mountains Region for Education for an Associate list. The University of Montana - Western is a public institution located in Dillon, Montana. The school has a small population, and it awarded 38 associates’s degrees in 2020-2021.

Montana Western not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #1 on our “Best General Education Associate Degree Schools in the Rocky Mountains Region” list.Of the 1,334 students enrolled at The University of Montana - Western, 51 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 24 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $5,068. To help with additional expenses, 3 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Weber State University. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Rocky Mountains Region for Education for an Associate list. Weber State University is a large school located in Ogden, Utah that handed out 17 associates’s education degrees in 2020-2021.

WSU also made our “Best General Education Associate Degree Schools in the Rocky Mountains Region” list, coming in at #2.Among the 29,596 students enrolled at Weber State University, 747 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 472 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $4,815. In addition to receiving other benefits, 0 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Weber State University does offer credit for military training for eligible students.

The low undergrad student loan default rate of [DEFAULT_RATE_STRING]% is a good sign that students have an easier time paying off their loans than they might at other schools. For comparison, the national default rate is 10.1%.
