When it comes to choosing a college, veterans have a lot of options - but not all of them are good. College Factual was founded, in part, to help students make the decision as to what would be the best school for them. Our “Most Veteran Friendly in Texas for Instructional Media” ranking is part of that endeavor.
In 2020-2021, 8,695 people earned their degree in instructional media design, making the major the 98th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, instructional media design graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $54,158 and had an average of $29,016 in loans still to pay off.
Across Texas, there were 536 instructional media design graduates with average earnings and debt of $50,612 and $0 respectively.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Texas for Instructional Media” ranking looked at 14 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in instructional media design. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent instructional media design programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.
To come up with these rankings, we looked at factors such as veteran satisfaction, veteran affordability, and overall quality of the instructional media design program at the school. Check out our ranking methodology for more information.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend Texas A&M University - College Station. The school came in at #1 for the Most Veteran Friendly in Texas for Instructional Media. Texas A&M University - College Station is located in College Station, Texas and, has a large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 19 ’s instructional media degrees to qualified students.

In addition to being on our texas vets studying instructional media list, UST has also earned the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] rank in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.According to our most recent data, UST supports 3,692 students, and 91 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 53 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. Texas Tech is a public institution located in Lubbock, Texas. The school has a large population, and it awarded 12 ’s degrees in 2020-2021.

SHSU is located in Huntsville, Texas and, has a large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 26 ’s instructional media degrees to qualified students.
