With all of the options veterans have for higher education today, it can be tough to choose which direction to take. College Factual was founded, in part, to help students make the decision as to what would be the best school for them. Our “Most Veteran Friendly in the Plains States Region for Instructional Media” ranking is part of that endeavor.
In 2020-2021, 8,695 people earned their degree in instructional media design, making the major the 98th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, instructional media design graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $54,158 and had an average of $29,016 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Plains States region, there were 650 instructional media design graduates with average earnings and debt of $49,885 and $0 respectively.
For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Plains States Region for Instructional Media” ranking, we looked at 26 colleges that offer a degree in instructional media design. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality instructional media design programs as well as strong veteran support.
Some of the factors we look at when determining these rankings are overall quality of the instructional media design program at the school, veteran affordability, and veteran population. Check out our ranking methodology for more information.
