It’s not easy to decide which college to attend when there so many options available for veterans. Our “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Other Education for a Bachelor’s” ranking is part of that endeavor.
In 2020-2021, 4,858 people earned their degree in other education, making the major the 178th most popular in the United States.
Across the Southeast region, there were 1,451 other education graduates with average earnings and debt of $0 and $0 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 357 other education graduates with average earnings and debt of $37,400 and $27,180 respectively.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Other Education for a Bachelor’s” ranking looked at 10 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in other education. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality other education programs as well as strong veteran support.

Top 10 Best Other Education Bachelor’s Degree Colleges for Veterans in the Southeast Region
You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of South Alabama. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Other Education for a Bachelor’s list. University of South Alabama is a fairly large school located in Mobile, Alabama that handed out 4 bachelors’s other education degrees in 2020-2021.
USA also made our “Best Other Education Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” list, coming in at #2.Our most recent data shows that 868 of the 14,224 students enrolled at USA were GI Bill® students, of which 411 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. Campbell is a private not-for-profit institution located in Buies Creek, North Carolina. The school has a medium-sized population, and it awarded 4 bachelors’s degrees in 2020-2021.

Out of the 10 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Other Education for a Bachelor’s that were part of this year’s ranking, St Petersburg College landed the #5 spot on the list. St Petersburg College is located in Clearwater, Florida and, has a large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 113 bachelors’s other education degrees to qualified students.
