Illinois State University has taken the #1 spot in this year's education ranking for non-traditional students. Illinois State is a very large public school located in the suburb of Normal. As a testament to the quality of education offered at Illinois State, the school also landed the #2 rank in our Best Colleges for Education in Illinois ranking.
The school has a low student loan default rate of 1.7%. There are approximately 7,464 students at Illinois State that take at least one class online. 2,500 of Illinois State students are attending part time.

The #2 spot in this year's ranking belongs to Trinity Christian College. Located in the large suburb of Palos Heights, Trinity Christian is a private not-for-profit college with a fairly small student population. Trinity Christian also made our Best Colleges for Education in Illinois list, coming in at #1.
