Northeastern State University earned the #2 spot in our 2021 rankings. Located in the remote town of Tahlequah, NSU is a public college with a moderately-sized student population. NSU also took the #8 spot in our Best Colleges for Education in Oklahoma rankings.

The school has a low student loan default rate of 0.5%. Approximately 2,922 students take at least one class online at NSU. 2,577 students are part time.
