Education is one of the most popular majors in the nation, ranking 4th of all the majors we analyze. In 2020-2021, 327,871 degrees were awarded to students with this major. In 2019-2020, education graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $46,202 and had an average of $24,437 in loans still to pay off.

Across Ohio, there were 9,582 education graduates with average earnings and debt of $37,446 and $24,636 respectively. At the associate degree level specifically, there were 866 education graduates with average earnings and debt of $35,544 and $21,357 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Ohio for Education for an Associate” ranking looked at 12 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in education. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent education programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

Ohio State University - Main Campus is a large school located in Columbus, Ohio that handed out 2 associates’s education degrees in 2020-2021.
