Our “Most Veteran Friendly in Oklahoma for Education for a Bachelor’s” ranking is part of that endeavor.
Education is one of the most popular majors in the nation, ranking 4th of all the majors we analyze. In 2020-2021, 327,871 degrees were awarded to students with this major. In 2019-2020, education graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $46,202 and had an average of $24,437 in loans still to pay off.
Across Oklahoma, there were 3,293 education graduates with average earnings and debt of $41,673 and $21,887 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 1,174 education graduates with average earnings and debt of $40,150 and $25,612 respectively.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Oklahoma for Education for a Bachelor’s” ranking analyzed 14 colleges that offered a degree in education. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great education programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.

This large school is located in Norman, Oklahoma, and it awarded 169 bachelors’s education degrees in 2020-2021.
