When pursuing a degree in today’s world, veterans have many different options to choose from. College Factual was founded, in part, to help students make the decision as to what would be the best school for them. Our “Most Veteran Friendly in Ohio for Education” ranking is part of that endeavor.
With 327,871 degrees handed out in 2020-2021, education is the 4th most popular major in the United States. In 2019-2020, education graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $46,202 and had an average of $24,437 in loans still to pay off.
Across Ohio, there were 9,582 education graduates with average earnings and debt of $37,446 and $24,636 respectively.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Ohio for Education” ranking looked at 45 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in education. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great education programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.
When determining these rankings, we looked at things such as overall quality of the education program at the school, veteran affordability, and veteran satisfaction. Check out our ranking methodology for more information.
