Our “Most Veteran Friendly in Pennsylvania for Education” ranking is part of that endeavor.
Education is one of the most popular majors in the nation, ranking 4th of all the majors we analyze. In 2020-2021, 327,871 degrees were awarded to students with this major. In 2019-2020, education graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $46,202 and had an average of $24,437 in loans still to pay off.
Across Pennsylvania, there were 12,522 education graduates with average earnings and debt of $45,698 and $26,116 respectively.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Pennsylvania for Education” ranking analyzed 67 colleges that offered a degree in education. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality education programs as well as strong veteran support.
To come up with these rankings, we looked at factors such as veteran satisfaction, veteran affordability, and overall quality of the education program at the school. For more information, check out our ranking methodology.
