In 2020-2021, 327,871 education students received their degree, making the major the 4th most popular in the country. In 2019-2020, education graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $46,202 and had an average of $24,437 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Rocky Mountains region, there were 22,173 education graduates with average earnings and debt of $45,204 and $21,571 respectively.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Rocky Mountains Region for Education” ranking looked at 37 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in education. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality education programs as well as strong veteran support.
