In 2020-2021, 43,297 people earned their degree in teacher education subject specific, making the major the 22nd most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, teacher education subject specific graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $42,245 and had an average of $24,696 in loans still to pay off.

Across Texas, there were 930 teacher education subject specific graduates with average earnings and debt of $44,108 and $25,526 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Texas for Subject Specific Ed” ranking analyzed 39 colleges that offered a degree in teacher education subject specific. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great teacher education subject specific programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.

Dallas, Texas is the setting for this fairly large institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out ’s subject specific ed degrees to 15 students in 2020-2021.
