With 110,226 degrees handed out in 2020-2021, teacher education grade specific is the 6th most popular major in the United States. In 2019-2020, teacher education grade specific graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $37,970 and had an average of $24,228 in loans still to pay off.

Across the New England region, there were 5,236 teacher education grade specific graduates with average earnings and debt of $37,654 and $25,154 respectively.

For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for Grade Specific Ed” ranking, we looked at 70 colleges that offer a degree in teacher education grade specific. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality teacher education grade specific programs as well as strong veteran support.

When determining these rankings, we looked at things such as overall quality of the teacher education grade specific program at the school, veteran affordability, and veteran satisfaction. Check out our ranking methodology for more information.

Located in Durham, New Hampshire, this fairly large public school handed out 83 degrees to qualified ’s grade specific ed students in 2020-2021.
