In 2020-2021, 6,736 people earned their degree in engineering-related fields, making the major the 112th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, engineering-related fields graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $77,404 and had an average of $26,200 in loans still to pay off.
Across Indiana, there were 298 engineering-related fields graduates with average earnings and debt of $55,157 and $28,775 respectively.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Indiana for Engineering-Related Fields for a Master’s” ranking looked at 3 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in engineering-related fields. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great engineering-related fields programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.

Located in Indianapolis, Indiana, this large public school awarded 43 degrees to qualified masters’s engineering-related fields students in 2020-2021.
