In 2019-2020, engineering-related fields graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $77,404 and had an average of $26,200 in loans still to pay off.

The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $11,409. On top of their other funding sources, 0 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in North Carolina for Engineering-Related Fields for a Master’s list. University of North Carolina at Charlotte is a large school located in Charlotte, North Carolina that handed out 28 masters’s engineering-related fields degrees in 2020-2021.
In addition to being on our north carolina master’s degree vets studying engineering-related fields list, UNC Charlotte has also earned the #3 rank in our “Best Engineering-Related Fields Master’s Degree Schools in North Carolina” ranking.Among the 30,146 students enrolled at University of North Carolina at Charlotte, 1,476 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 642 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $4,691. During this same period, 13 students received funds through the Yellow Ribbon Program. University of North Carolina at Charlotte does offer credit for military training for eligible students.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Duke University. It ranked #3 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in North Carolina for Engineering-Related Fields for a Master’s list. Duke is located in Durham, North Carolina and, has a fairly large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 130 masters’s engineering-related fields degrees to qualified students.
Duke did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #1 on our “Best Engineering-Related Fields Master’s Degree Schools in North Carolina” list.According to our most recent data, Duke supports 16,172 students, and 36 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 9 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients.
