When pursuing a degree in today’s world, veterans have many different options to choose from. College Factual has developed its “Most Veteran Friendly in Utah for Engineering-Related Tech for an Associate” ranking as one item you can use to help make this decision.
In 2020-2021, 989 people earned their degree in engineering-related technologies, making the major the 270th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, engineering-related technologies graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $57,339 and had an average of $21,670 in loans still to pay off.
Across Utah, there were 33 engineering-related technologies graduates with average earnings and debt of $0 and $0 respectively. At the associate degree level specifically, there were 10 engineering-related technologies graduates with average earnings and debt of $32,685 and $18,758 respectively.
The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great engineering-related technologies programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Utah Valley University. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Utah for Engineering-Related Tech for an Associate list. This large school is located in Orem, Utah, and it awarded 4 associates’s engineering-related tech degrees in 2020-2021.
UVU also took the #1 spot in our “Best Engineering-Related Technologies Associate Degree Schools in Utah” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 813 of the 40,936 students enrolled at UVU were GI Bill® students, of which 379 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $4,550. On top of their other funding sources, 0 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.
