Top 5 Best Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Technology Colleges for Veterans in the New England Region
You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Maine. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for ME Tech list. University of Maine is a fairly large school located in Orono, Maine that handed out 44 ’s ME tech degrees in 2020-2021.
UMaine did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] on our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list.According to our most recent data, UMaine supports 11,741 students, and 21 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 17 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $16,419. To help with additional expenses, 0 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Students may be able to receive credit for their military training, depending on their background.

Out of the 5 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for ME Tech that were part of this year’s ranking, Springfield Technical Community College landed the #2 spot on the list. Located in Springfield, Massachusetts, this small public school handed out 28 diplomas to qualified ’s ME tech students in 2020-2021.
STCC also took the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] spot in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.According to our most recent data, STCC supports 4,327 students, and 154 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 80 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $3,577. To help with additional expenses, 2 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.

Out of the 5 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for ME Tech that were part of this year’s ranking, Central Connecticut State University landed the #3 spot on the list. CCSU is located in New Britain, Connecticut and, has a medium-sized student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 26 ’s ME tech degrees to qualified students.
In addition to being on our new england region vets studying me tech list, CCSU has also earned the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] rank in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Of the 10,652 students enrolled at CCSU, 321 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 166 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $7,782. On top of their other funding sources, 3 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Students may be able to receive credit for their military training, depending on their background.

Vermont Tech is a public institution located in Randolph, Vermont. The school has a small population, and it awarded 11 ’s degrees in 2020-2021.
Vermont Tech did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] on our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list.According to our most recent data, Vermont Technical College supports 1,520 students, and 44 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 19 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. New England Tech is a small private not-for-profit school situated in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. It awarded 43 ’s ME tech degrees in 2020-2021.
New England Tech also took the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] spot in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.According to our most recent data, New England Tech supports 2,031 students, and 259 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 135 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $14,686. On top of their other funding sources, 34 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program.
