Central Connecticut State University has taken the #1 spot in this year's mechanical engineering technology ranking for non-traditional students. CCSU is a medium-sized public school located in the large suburb of New Britain. As a testament to the quality of education offered at CCSU, the school also landed the #2 rank in our Best Colleges for Mechanical Engineering Technology in the New England Region ranking.
The student loan default rate at CCSU is lower than is typical, just 2.1% of students default in three years. There are approximately 2,064 students at CCSU that take at least one class online. About 3,098 of the students at CCSU are attending part time.
University of Maine comes in at #2 in this year's ranking. Located in the suburb of Orono, UMaine is a public college with a large student population. UMaine also took the #1 spot in our Best Colleges for Mechanical Engineering Technology in the New England Region rankings.
