In 2020-2021, 6,013 people earned their degree in mechanical engineering technology, making the major the 132nd most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, mechanical engineering technology graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $54,639 and had an average of $22,526 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Great Lakes region, there were 1,705 mechanical engineering technology graduates with average earnings and debt of $59,611 and $23,101 respectively.
