You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Maine Maritime Academy. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Maine for Engineering Tech for a Bachelor’s list. Maine Maritime is a small public school situated in Castine, Maine. It awarded 19 bachelors’s engineering tech degrees in 2020-2021.

Maine Maritime also made our “Best Engineering Technologies Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Maine” list, coming in at #1.Among the 941 students enrolled at Maine Maritime Academy, 92 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 37 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $17,276. To help with additional expenses, 5 students received funds through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Students may be able to receive credit for their military training, depending on their background.

As a testament to the quality of education offered at UMaine, the school also landed the #2 spot in our “Best Engineering Technologies Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Maine” ranking.Among the 11,741 students enrolled at University of Maine, 21 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 17 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $16,419.
