Our mission at College Factual is to arm you with as much information as we can to help you make that decision. Our “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Engineering Tech for a Bachelor’s” ranking is one tool we have developed to help in this regard.
In 2020-2021, 85,188 people earned their degree in engineering technologies, making the major the 20th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, engineering technologies graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $52,350 and had an average of $21,560 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southeast region, there were 27,376 engineering technologies graduates with average earnings and debt of $49,645 and $20,966 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 4,946 engineering technologies graduates with average earnings and debt of $37,400 and $27,180 respectively.
For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Engineering Tech for a Bachelor’s” ranking, we looked at 46 colleges that offer a degree in engineering technologies. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality engineering technologies programs as well as strong veteran support.
When determining these rankings, we looked at things such as overall quality of the engineering technologies program at the school, veteran affordability, and veteran satisfaction. Check out our ranking methodology for more information.
