When pursuing a degree in today’s world, veterans have many different options to choose from. In 2020-2021, 85,188 people earned their degree in engineering technologies, making the major the 20th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, engineering technologies graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $52,350 and had an average of $21,560 in loans still to pay off.
Across New Mexico, there were 660 engineering technologies graduates with average earnings and debt of $43,976 and $14,600 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 66 engineering technologies graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,779 and $27,879 respectively.
The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great engineering technologies programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.
