2023 Best Computer Engineering Bachelor’s Degree Colleges for Veterans in Georgia

Computer Engineering is the 56th most popular major in the country with 17,987 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, computer engineering graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $73,143 and had an average of $24,685 in loans still to pay off.

Across Georgia, there were 359 computer engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $68,861 and $30,332 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 295 computer engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $37,491 and $29,433 respectively.

Out of the 3 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in Georgia for CE for a Bachelor’s that were part of this year’s ranking, Georgia Institute of Technology - Main Campus landed the #1 spot on the list. Georgia Tech is a large school located in Atlanta, Georgia that handed out 153 bachelors’s CE degrees in 2020-2021.

Georgia Tech did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #1 on our “Best Computer Engineering Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Georgia” list.According to our most recent data, Georgia Tech supports 39,771 students, and 430 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 240 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. Located in Athens, Georgia, this large public school awarded 32 degrees to qualified bachelors’s CE students in 2020-2021.

As a testament to the quality of education offered at UGA, the school also landed the #2 spot in our “Best Computer Engineering Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Georgia” ranking.According to our most recent data, UGA supports 39,147 students, and 9 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 3 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. GaSou is located in Statesboro, Georgia and, has a large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 10 bachelors’s CE degrees to qualified students.

GaSou also made our “Best Computer Engineering Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Georgia” list, coming in at #4.According to our most recent data, GaSou supports 26,949 students, and 1,102 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 406 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $3,665. In addition to receiving other benefits, 0 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program.
