Our “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for CE for a Doctorate” ranking is one tool we have developed to help in this regard.
Computer Engineering is the 56th most popular major in the country with 17,987 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, computer engineering graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $73,143 and had an average of $24,685 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southeast region, there were 3,297 computer engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $68,480 and $26,507 respectively.
For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for CE for a Doctorate” ranking, we looked at 15 colleges that offer a degree in computer engineering. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great computer engineering programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.
Some of the factors we look at when determining these rankings are overall quality of the computer engineering program at the school, veteran affordability, and veteran population. For more information, check out our ranking methodology.
