In 2020-2021, 17,987 people earned their degree in computer engineering, making the major the 56th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, computer engineering graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $73,143 and had an average of $24,685 in loans still to pay off.
Across Ohio, there were 1,143 computer engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $63,532 and $26,249 respectively.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Ohio for CE” ranking looked at 12 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in computer engineering. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent computer engineering programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.
