New Jersey Institute of Technology tops the 2021 list of our schools in New Jersey that are best for non-traditional chemical engineering students. NJIT is a fairly large public school located in the city of Newark. As a testament to the quality of education offered at NJIT, the school also landed the #2 rank in our Best Colleges for Chemical Engineering in New Jersey ranking.
The school has a low student loan default rate of 0.7%. Approximately 3,018 students take at least one class online at NJIT. About 3,015 of the students at NJIT are attending part time.
Rutgers University - New Brunswick comes in at #2 in this year's ranking. Rutgers New Brunswick is a fairly large public school located in the city of New Brunswick.
