Brigham Young University - Provo has taken the #1 spot in this year's chemical engineering ranking for non-traditional students. Located in the midsize city of Provo, BYU is a private not-for-profit school with a very large student population. BYU also made our Best Colleges for Chemical Engineering in the Rocky Mountains Region list, coming in at #2.
The school has a low student loan default rate of 0.4%. There are approximately 12,325 students at BYU that take at least one class online. About 4,504 of the students at BYU are attending part time.
