In 2021-2022, 26,528 people earned their degree in electrical engineering, making the major the 39th most popular in the United States. In , electrical engineering graduates who were awarded their degree in , earned an average of $74,389 and had an average of $23,045 in loans still to pay off.
At the associate degree level specifically, there were 259 electrical engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $36,431 and $15,731 respectively.
