Top 10 Best Electrical Engineering Schools for Non-Traditional Students
Georgia Institute of Technology - Main Campus has taken the #1 spot in this year's electrical engineering ranking for non-traditional students. Georgia Tech is a very large public school located in the large city of Atlanta. Georgia Tech not only placed well in our non-traditional rankings. It is also #1 on our Best Colleges for Electrical Engineering in the Southeast Region list.
The student loan default rate at Georgia Tech is lower than is typical, just 0.4% of students default in three years. 19,058 of Georgia Tech students are exclusively distance learners. 21,273 of Georgia Tech students are attending part time.

University of Florida earned the #2 spot in our 2021 rankings. Located in the midsize city of Gainesville, UF is a public college with a very large student population. UF not only placed well in our non-traditional rankings. It is also #2 on our Best Colleges for Electrical Engineering in the Southeast Region list.
The student loan default rate at UF is lower than is typical, just 0.9% of students default in three years. There are approximately 22,865 students at UF that take at least one class online. About 11,205 of the students at UF are attending part time.

The #3 spot in this year's ranking belongs to North Carolina State University. Located in the large city of Raleigh, NC State is a public school with a very large student population. NC State also made our Best Colleges for Electrical Engineering in the Southeast Region list, coming in at #3.

Virginia Tech landed the #4 spot in our 2021 best electrical engineering schools for non-traditional students. Virginia Tech is a fairly large public school located in the city of Blacksburg. Virginia Tech also took the #4 spot in our Best Colleges for Electrical Engineering in the Southeast Region rankings.
