You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Portland State University. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Oregon for EE for a Bachelor’s list. Located in Portland, Oregon, this large public school awarded 81 degrees to qualified bachelors’s EE students in 2020-2021.
As a testament to the quality of education offered at Portland State University, the school also landed the #2 spot in our “Best Electrical Engineering Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Oregon” ranking.Of the 23,640 students enrolled at Portland State University, 1,127 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 739 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $8,835. In addition to receiving other benefits, 100 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Students may be able to receive credit for their military training, depending on their background.

Oregon State University is a large school located in Corvallis, Oregon that handed out 133 bachelors’s EE degrees in 2020-2021.
In addition to being on our oregon bachelor’s degree vets studying ee list, Oregon State has also earned the #1 rank in our “Best Electrical Engineering Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Oregon” ranking.According to our most recent data, Oregon State supports 32,312 students, and 1,559 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 1,000 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $8,385. To help with additional expenses, 17 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.
The school has an excellent freshman retention rate of 85%, which means students like the school well enough to return for a second year. University of Portland is a private not-for-profit institution located in Portland, Oregon. The school has a small population, and it awarded 22 bachelors’s degrees in 2020-2021.
University of Portland also made our “Best Electrical Engineering Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Oregon” list, coming in at #3.Our most recent data shows that 107 of the 3,999 students enrolled at University of Portland were GI Bill® students, of which 49 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients.
