You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend The University of Alabama. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Alabama for EE for a Bachelor’s list. Tuscaloosa, Alabama is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out bachelors’s EE degrees to 77 students in 2020-2021.
As a testament to the quality of education offered at UA, the school also landed the #2 spot in our “Best Electrical Engineering Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Alabama” ranking.Among the 37,840 students enrolled at UA, 2,081 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 1,128 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $7,975. Auburn University is located in Auburn, Alabama and, has a large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 85 bachelors’s EE degrees to qualified students.

UAB also made our “Best Electrical Engineering Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Alabama” list, coming in at #4.Our most recent data shows that 1,194 of the 22,563 students enrolled at UAB were GI Bill® students, of which 508 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of South Alabama. It ranked #5 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Alabama for EE for a Bachelor’s list. USA is a fairly large public school situated in Mobile, Alabama. It awarded 36 bachelors’s EE degrees in 2020-2021.
USA also made our “Best Electrical Engineering Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Alabama” list, coming in at #5.According to our most recent data, USA supports 14,224 students, and 868 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 411 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $7,549. During this same period, 11 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. USA does offer credit for military training for eligible students.
