In 2019-2020, electrical engineering graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $74,380 and had an average of $24,114 in loans still to pay off.

Across Oregon, there were 359 electrical engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $75,216 and $26,033 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Oregon for EE” ranking looked at 4 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in electrical engineering. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent electrical engineering programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend Portland State University. The school came in at #1 for the Most Veteran Friendly in Oregon for EE. Portland State University is a large school located in Portland, Oregon that handed out 81 ’s EE degrees in 2020-2021.

Portland State University did well in our major quality rankings, too. Oregon State is located in Corvallis, Oregon and, has a large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 204 ’s EE degrees to qualified students.

Oregon State not only placed well in this ranking.
