Out of the 1 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the Far Western US Region for Energy Systems Engineering for a Bachelor’s that were part of this year’s ranking, Oregon Institute of Technology landed the #1 spot on the list. OIT is a small school located in Klamath Falls, Oregon that handed out 23 bachelors’s energy systems engineering degrees in 2020-2021.
OIT did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #1 on our “Best Energy Systems Engineering Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Far Western US Region” list.Of the 5,323 students enrolled at OIT, 104 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 57 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $8,491. In addition to receiving other benefits, 1 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. OIT does offer credit for military training for eligible students.
